Week 1 of the 2018 High School football games brought me to Lynchburg City Stadium, Where the Heritage Pioneers hosted the William Fleming Colonels. Heritage jumped out early and never really looked back, Final score was 43-7. Here's the gallery

The 2018 High School Football season is here and going!!! I'm looking forward to being able to capture all the games and players i get the opportunity to. This should be a really fun season for me, and hopefully a chance to capture some amazing images. 

Finally catching a moment to wrap up a good bit of client editing, as well as a chance to tinker with the website and update it again. My intent is to start having weekly blog posts. For two reasons, It will help keep me focused and keep you all informed of what's going on. I intend to talk about any thing I'm working on and keep showing shots of my current work. As well as any promotions that may be coming up. Looking forward to seeing where this ride will take me.

It's been a good long time since I've done an actual blog post, I've been a little more active on the Facebook page. Needless to say, I have been very busy over the past few months with a decent amount of Senior and Family shoots. It has been an absolute blast. The temps have been up, so shooting outside all the time has been a little rough, but it gave me a perfect excuse to try my indoor lights and set up a few creative shots with them.

 Getting ready for another Senior shoot today along the Blue Ridge Parkway and at a College nearby. I'm still working on some personal project items as well, hoping to wrap them up by early Fall and reveal them then. I'm still debating on how I can work a possible Solar Eclipse shoot in with my day job. So that's a little frustrating, but life goes on. I'll try to be a little more active on this page and hopefully sharing some stories with you here.

Looking back at this past weekends shoot, I'm reminded why I feel so fortunate. I'm capturing great images for families and aspiring young men and women as they are beginning such an amazing stage of their life. Oh to have such a blank slate in front of me again, those years are so golden and so fleeting. Senior photos for me, are so much fun as I connect with the kids and the families while preserving that moment forever for them. 

The weather yesterday was another reminder of how fast time can fly. Its was a beautiful day to get out and about, while traveling I made a quick stop at Crabtree Falls. I will definitely be returning to that area for more shots when the seasons truly change. I can only imaging it's beauty when everything is lush and green.  Crabtree Falls

After doing this little venture for over a year now, I have decided to step things up a notch for my clients. In the past year it has been a blast meeting and photographing the families, but I felt that just giving them a DVD or Digital Downloads wasn't enough. So this newer version of the website will help me give them more. It will make it more convenient than ever for my clients to get prints made. That said, I'm trying to keep the cost down as low as possible and still use top print labs. With 2017 just around the corner, I'm anxious to hear what you all think about the coming changes, and look forward to capturing more moments for you.
